Welcome to the Public Policy program! Below is information important for all new students.
Letter from the chair
Dear DPAP Students:
Welcome to the Department of Public Administration and Policy (DPAP)! Starting a new graduate program is exciting and I’m sure you have many questions. We have a community of faculty, staff, and students who are here to support you.
I encourage you to reach out to our expert faculty and staff. DPAP faculty are always happy to address questions about their research, and our staff can share important insight on course selection. We look forward to helping you navigate campus resources and explore career pathways.
As Department Chair, I’m also available to address any questions. I will have weekly office hours announced at the start of the semester, and I’m always available via e-mail. As a faculty member, I appreciate the opportunity to teach and continue learning from current and future practitioners. Please feel free to stop by during office hours and chat!
To that point, I invite you to share your perspectives and experiences. Whether you are new to public service or have years of experience, you are welcomed, respected, and valued. Public service is forever changing, but our commitment to you as a DPAP student is unwavering.
Sincerely,
Dr. Vincent Reitano, Chair
