National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts (NACTA)

NACTA was founded in 1950 and has served as China’s premier academic institution for traditional Chinese opera and theater education, often regarded as “the cradle of the best Chinese theater artists.” In recent years, NACTA has also been active in the pursuit of international collaboration through joint educational programs and the promotion of Chinese opera overseas. Having established partnerships in art education and communication with 23 universities around the world, including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
中国戏曲学院成立于1950年,是中国戏曲教育的最高学府,被誉为“中国高端戏曲人才培养的摇篮”。近年来,中国戏曲学院在国际合作办学及戏曲艺术海外传播方面做出了积极尝试,已与港澳台地区及国外23所大学建立了艺术教育与交流方面的合作关系。
