Background

Ponomarev received his PhD in computer science from Binghamton University and joined the faculty in 2003. His research interests are in computer architecture, systems security, energy-aware systems and parallel discrete event simulation.

His research has been funded by NSF, Air Force Research Laboratory, Intel and Qatar National Research Fund.

Ponomarev published over 70 papers in leading international conferences and journals.
