Background
George Weinschenk began teaching for Binghamton University's Engineering Design Division in spring 2010 and joined the Computer Science Department in fall 2013. He received a PhD degree in comparative literature (2007) as well as a master's in philosophy from Binghamton University, a master's and bachelor's in English from Florida Atlantic University, and a bachelor's in fine arts from Indiana University and Purdue University in Indianapolis. His diverse academic background mirrors his extensive travel while living twelve years overseas in Great Britain, Italy, Iran, Greece and Singapore. He brings this global and multidisciplinary perspective to his computer ethics and technical communications courses.
