Dr. Panigrosso assists the Clinical Director in oversight of the delivery of counseling services at the University Counseling Center. This includes managing the client flow and providing clinical supervision to senior staff as well as trainees. She also provides direct service, including individual counseling to students, outreach, and consultation.
Dr. Panigrosso earned her undergraduate degree at Cornell University and received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from St. John's University. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center – Zucker Hillside Hospital. Prior to joining Binghamton University, she worked for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs. Her professional interests include mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and family issues. In her clinical practice, she utilizes cognitive behavior therapy, interpersonal, and integrative approaches. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis, reading, and travelling.
