Some students experience difficulties related to the transition and adjustment to college, while others may experience a less predictable crisis that challenges their capacity to cope effectively. On rare occasions, students may become despondent and hopeless and find it difficult to think about continuing to live or they become confused and angry and find it hard to be around others.
