Biography
Sarah Kneebis (she/her) is a Binghamton native who graduated from Binghamton University with her Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2021. She has worked in a variety of social work settings, including in community public health, inpatient mental health, and substance use disorder outpatient treatment, involving trauma-focused work.
Sarah takes an integrative approach to therapy, typically drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. She encourages students to explore themselves without judgement, gain a deeper psychological understanding of their concerns, and learn personalized skills that lead to change. Her particular clinical interests include anxiety, substance use, and grief.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, songwriting, chess, rock climbing, and spending time with her cats.
