Compliance with Policies and Procedures
New York and SUNY require that every Binghamton University student positively affirm the University Student Code of Conduct as a condition of enrollment. You confirmed receipt of the Code Of Conduct when you accepted your Binghamton University computer account. The Binghamton University Student Handbook and Code of Student Conduct, found therein, is considered the valid policy and procedure manual for Binghamton University students.
As a Decker College graduate student, you are also responsible for complying with the policies and procedures in the following:
- Binghamton Academic Guide (formerly, the Bulletin), including all policies and procedures about the Doctor of Physical Therapy program
- Binghamton University Graduate School Manual
In addition, students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program are responsible for complying with the policies and procedures in the following handbooks, available in this Google Drive folder:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy Student Handbook
- Doctor of Physical Therapy Clinical Education Handbook
Finally, physical therapists and physical therapy students in the United States are obligated to comply with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Code of Ethics for the Physical Therapist.
Students must complete the Doctor of Physical Therapy Policies and Procedures Acknowledgement form, agreeing to comply with all Binghamton University, Graduate School, Decker College and DPT program policies and procedures.
