Background

Anne Schneider joined Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences in February 2022 as assistant director of clinical education and clinical assistant professor in the Division of Physical Therapy within the School of Rehabilitation Sciences.

She has 18 years of experience as a physical therapist in a variety of settings and states. Schneider has also been an adjunct clinical professor for the Physical Therapy departments at Clarkson University and Ithaca College and taught in the Exercise Science and Sport Studies Department at St. Lawrence University. 

In 2015, Schneider began specializing in the treatment of pediatric clients. She has worked in the early intervention, preschool, school age and outpatient settings. Her passion is early intervention due to its family-centered nature and team-based approach to care. 

Before joining Binghamton, Schneider was director of clinical services at Racker in Ithaca, N.Y., where she oversaw a team of occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers and psychologists who provided care in early intervention, preschool and school settings across multiple counties in New York.
