Environmental Justice Week

Why Environmental Justice Week?

The environment impacts our lives in many ways, including human health and well-being. The quality of the air we breathe and the water we drink are directly affected by our environment, and we, in turn, can have a tremendous impact on our environment.

Our personal choices, including the purchases we make, how we consume energy and the food we eat, are all part of the equation contributing to the health of our environment, which ultimately affects our lives and livelihoods.

Environmental Justice Week at Binghamton University is focused on creating awareness of the various aspects of the environment we can help shape by making small but significant changes. Join us to learn more about environmental factors affecting everyday people and the actions we can take to create a more sustainable future.
