Friend of the Earth: Remembrance Day for Dick Andrus on Nov. 6

Binghamton University’s Environmental Studies Program, VINES and the Andrus family invite you to a Remembrance Day for Professor Richard “Dick” Andrus on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021.

Dick Andrus was a botanist by training and came to Binghamton University in 1973 to establish its environmental studies program. Dick changed the lives and paths of many students, planting the seeds of a more sustainable world. He helped shape Binghamton’s Nature Preserve, worked to protect the environment and encouraged the local food movement in his own community, among many other accomplishments.
