In this workshop, enrollees will learn effective methods for developing personal resilience, which will be discussed, identified, and applied. Participants will work within the framework of this presentation to develop the skills needed to become an adept human service professional when working with others. Upon the conclusion of this seminar, participants will be prepared to:

Explain the concept and importance of resilience.Develop the skills and strengths necessary for building personal resilience.Create a plan of self-care for successfully handling challenging times and settings.Differentiate between which strategies to use for dealing with setbacks and change in life, as well as in the workplace.Develop a strategy for determining the effectiveness of their resilience.
