Join us for New Student Connection Days!
In addition to your Virtual Orientation, you will have the opportunity to join us for an optional, in-person New Student Connection Day. This is an opportunity for students and families to visit campus and learn more about the offices and services we have available to new students. You will also get to meet our Orientation Advisors — current students who can talk about their experiences as a Binghamton University student.
These one-day sessions are organized by our residential communities, so it's a great opportunity to see where you'll be living in the fall, learn about your community's unique offerings and traditions, and check out the residential rooms. You may even meet your suite or flatmates, or someone living on your floor!
Students and families will also get to meet the Collegiate Professors — faculty members connected to the residential communities who can help you connect your academic life with your life outside the classroom.
Event registration
Students who are registered for a Virtual Orientation session may register for a New Student Connection Day through VZOrientation after May 25. The dates are specific to the residential community that you are assigned for the fall, so plan accordingly. These sessions are first come, first serve, so register early to secure your date.
Each student can register up to two family members or other guests for their chosen date. Just add them on the guest tab in the reservation through VZOrientation.
Please note:
You must register for the New Student Connection Days in advance. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Binghamton University is adhering to current NYS guidelines, and therefore masks are required indoors for non-vaccinated individuals. Please plan accordingly. Attendees will be updated closer to the event with most up-to-date guidance.
