Celebrate Juneteenth in Binghamton

Juneteenth is the oldest and most widely recognized holiday marking the end of slavery in the United States. Texas first recognized it as a state holiday in 1980, following a bill introduced by State Representative Al Edwards. It became a federally recognized holiday in 2021.
