Lauren Heald
Lauren Heald - Associate Director for Student Transition and Success
Lauren Heald (she/her) earned her bachelor's degree at Hartwick College in Studio
Art followed by her Masters in the Art of Teaching from Bethany College, West Virginia.
Through her graduate studies and professional career, Lauren has gained experience
in supporting students and has been certified as a Success Coach. Lauren strives to
create a supportive environment where students feel empowered and thrive through
their academic journey. Lauren supervises the Success Coaching program and is excited
to assist with the it's growth. While away from her desk, Lauren enjoys spending time
with her six guinea pigs, her dogs Eevee & Billy, taking care of her houseplants,
playing volleyball and making art in her home studio.
Patrick Talvi
Patrick Talvi - Coordinator for Success Coaching
Patrick Talvi (he/him) earned his Bachelor's degree at Marist College in Psychology.
Soon after, he received his Master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs
from Binghamton University. Before Success Coaching, Patrick spent 4 years as an academic
advisor in Watson College here at Binghamton. He is passionate about helping students
create healthy academic goals and supporting them throughout their journey. When he
is not working, Patrick spends his time visiting friends and family, playing video
games, and cuddling with his two cats, Shadow and Sunny.

Lauren Santospirito - Graduate Assistant for Success Coaching
Hi, my name is Lauren! I am currently a 4+1 graduate student in Binghamton's Higher
Education and Student Affairs Administration program, and this is my third year as
a success coach. Last year, I graduated with my degree in Psychology with an Education
minor. As an undergraduate student, I was a part of Greek life, the tele-fund office,
and a TA. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports and listening to music. I can't
wait to meet you all!
Merrell Rouff
Merrell Rouff - Graduate Assistant for Success Coaching
Hi I'm Merrell! I am a graduate student at Binghamton studying Social Work. Last year
I graduated with my bachelor's degree in psychology from SUNY Brockport. In my time
as an undergrad, I was vice president of the National Alliance on Mental Illness on
campus, and researched the impact of first-year seminars on students. In my free time
I love to watch sports (especially the New York Rangers and the New York Giants),
hanging out with my friends and hiking. I am so excited to meet you all!

I'm a junior studying Political Science and Sustainable Communities. I also write
for the Happy Medium, a Political Science magazine on campus. I am the treasurer of
YDSA, an activist group on campus. I'm from Long Island. In my spare time, I like
going to the gym and playing video games. My energy comes from curiosity and a need
to build a just world.
Charlene Lin
Charlene Lin - Peer Success Coach
Hi! My name is Charlene and I’m from Long Island, NY! I’m a junior majoring in Business
Administration with a concentration in Leadership and Consulting. In my free time,
I love going to the gym, watching different Netflix shows, and trying out new recipes.
I’m actively involved in the Binghamton community through various clubs and organizations,
and I’m passionate about community building and leadership. I look forward to supporting
students with skills like organization and time management by sharing the tips and
tricks I’ve learned that have helped me succeed. I’m excited to meet and work with

Hi there! My name is Swapna. I’m from Westchester, NY, and I’m a senior majoring in
biological sciences and minoring in education on a pre-medical track. Outside of classes,
I serve on the E-board for the American Red Cross Club, work as a research assistant,
volunteer as an EMT, and TA for BIOL 113. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with
friends, practicing calligraphy, binging shows, listening to music, and going on walks

Hi! My name is Kayla and I’m a junior double majoring in Biological Sciences and Global
Public Health, as well as minoring in Anthropology on the pre-medical track. In addition
to this role, I also serve on the e-boards of various clubs, TA for the FRI Public
Health stream, and work for Late Nite and the Chemistry Department! I am excited to
work with students to connect them to important resources and help them develop the

Hello, my name is Nabiha, and I’m from the Bronx, NYC. I’m a senior at Binghamton
University, majoring in Chemistry on the pre-pharmacy track. On campus, I serve as
an Apartment Assistant in the Susquehanna community, am active in several clubs, and
am working to start a Bullet Journaling Club! In my free time, I enjoy journaling,
painting, drawing, and cooking. Being a first-generation student, I understand the
challenges of transitioning to college and building independence. My goal as a Peer
Success Coach is to help students develop sustainable skills in time management, organization,
and self-care, while connecting them to campus resources when needed. I believe there’s
no single path to success, and I’m here to help students define and achieve success

Hi! I’m Sneha Sodhani (she/her). I was born in New Jersey and raised in India. I’m
currently a sophomore majoring in integrative neuroscience and exploring a minor in
digital and data studies, all while taking my first Python class this semester! In
my free time, I love reading, hanging out with friends, and eating M&Ms. During my
time at Binghamton, I’ve served as an orientation advisor, worked at Bartle Library,
and stayed actively involved in various student leadership roles. I am passionate
about exploring different pathways and love making a positive difference in people's

Hi! My name is Kelly Last and I’m from Staten Island! I’m a senior majoring in biological
sciences. During my free time I love to play guitar, watch movies, and hang out with
friends. I am a member of the Binghamton Women’s Rugby Club, as well as the Pre-Vet
Society. As a peer success coach, I hope to help students feel comfortable on their

Hi! My name is Noa Ganz, I am a senior studying political science, beginning my 4+1
in Public Administration, with a concentration in nonprofit administration, and I
am from New York City. On campus, I am a campus tour guide and the co-president of
SwipeOutHunger, a club that aims to destigmatize and aid food insecurity. Last spring
semester, I was studying abroad in Florence, Italy and I traveled to six countries!
