The Transfer Advocate Award recognizes faculty and staff who have made a meaningful impact on the success and experience of transfer students at Binghamton University. Recipients are nominated by transfer students themselves during the Spring semester, honoring those who go above and beyond to provide support, guidance, mentorship, and encouragement.
Awardees are celebrated at the Tau Sigma National Honor Society for Transfer Students Induction Ceremony, highlighting their role in creating an inclusive and welcoming environment that helps transfer students thrive academically and socially. This award showcases the dedication of faculty and staff whose efforts leave a lasting, positive impact on the transfer student experience.
Nominations are now being sought for the 2026 Transfer Advocate Award! If you know of a deserving faculty/staff member, please fill out our nomination form here. The nomination period will close on Friday, March 27, 2026.
