In 2025, Binghamton University was named by the American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) and W.K. Kellogg Foundation as a Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation (TRHT) Campus Center.

Binghamton University is one of 71 TRHT Campus Centers nationwide, one of four SUNY Schools, and the only University Center.

As a TRHT Campus Center, we collaborate with the AAC&U and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to achieve a common goal: to prepare the next generation of leaders and thinkers to challenge racialized practices and to dismantle the belief in a hierarchy of human value.
