James Gallagher is the senior advisor for pharmacist talent acquisition for the CVS Health Northeastern Division.
During his 30-plus years with CVS, Gallagher has held several management and leadership positions in field operations and human resources including pharmacy manager, pharmacy supervisor, regional healthcare manager and manager of professional and college relations.
He has served as adjunct faculty for Northeastern University, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, University of Rhode Island and the University of Connecticut, where he precepted interns in community pharmacy as well as business leadership. Gallagher is an active member of the American Pharmacists Association and a member of the Beta Epsilon chapter of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity.
He received his BS in pharmacy from Northeastern University in Boston, Mass., and is a licensed pharmacist in Massachusetts.
