Biography
Willie Eggleston, PharmD, DABAT, earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and completed a two-year fellowship in clinical toxicology and emergency medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University and with the Upstate New York Poison Center in Syracuse, New York. Before joining Binghamton University, he was the assistant clinical director for the Upstate New York Poison Center, an assistant professor in emergency medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University, and was previously an assistant professor at SUNY Binghamton School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SOPPS). He is a diplomate of the American Board of Applied Toxicology (DABAT).
Eggleston, currently a clinical associate professor of pharmacy practice at the Binghamton University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, provides didactic and experiential education for pharmacy students in the area of toxicology. He is also a clinical pharmacy specialist in toxicology at SUNY Upstate University Hospital and the Upstate New York Poison Center, where he provides clinical services for patients with drug or medication overdose or poisoning. He also serves as a preceptor for the medical toxicology fellowship and emergency medicine residency programs.
