Jeffner Allen is a professor of Africana Studies and philosophy. She is an affiliated faculty member of the Center for Korean Studies, Comparative Literature, and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies, and holds a Courtesy Title in the Translation, Research and Instruction Program (TRIP).
