ABOUT
The department of Philosophy at Binghamton University is proud to be affiliated with Minorities and Philosophy, an organization that examines and addresses issues of minority participation in academic philosophy. Our chapter is run by the graduate students of the department and aims to foster a vibrant and diverse philosophical community. We organize a number of social and academic events, including talks by philosophers from historically underrepresented groups, informal social gatherings, and most importantly a mentoring workshop titled COMPASS.
