We facilitate the growth of Binghamton University research and scholarship and help build awareness of the important work being done on campus. The discovery of new knowledge, the invention of new technologies and the development of vital applications and collaborations are core goals shared by administrators, faculty, staff and students at Binghamton. The Office of Research Advancement supports those broader institutional goals and values by helping to:
- Define and enhance the University's research reputation through the creation and appropriate dissemination of research news and information.
- Garner increased interest in Binghamton research through public events such as Research Days and outreach programming such as school field trips to campus facilities.
- Grow sponsored program activity, graduate enrollment and institutional reputation by providing a "one-stop shop" dedicated to the targeted use of creative and technological resources to advance the development and success of faculty research.
- Provide editorial and information technology support to enhance the quality and success of faculty research and institutional operations.
