Philly Fellows
Philly Fellows is designed to connect motivated graduates with meaningful positions where they can make a difference in the city of Philadelphia. The program offers an exciting transition from college to the community where, together with their peers, fellows can gain knowledge, contribute talent, and develop leadership while experiencing the best of Philadelphia.
• Fellows work 40 hours/week at a partnering non-profit agency that captures their interest in a position where they can build capacity and develop new skills.
• In addition, fellows participate in leadership and professional development curriculum throughout the year.
• Fellows live together in one of three houses in vibrant Philadelphia neighborhoods -current houses are in West Philadelphia, South Philadelphia, and Northern Liberties. Housing is shared with 3-5 other fellows.
Fellows receive a $12,311 living stipend, health insurance, student loan forbearance, and a $5,730 education award (upon completion of the program). These benefits are awarded through the AmeriCorps VISTA program (Learn more about VISTA benefits ).
