National Science Foundation - Research Experiences for Undergraduates Program (REU)

Summer research opportunities in all fields of the sciences (including most of the social sciences), mathematics, and engineering. Each site, based at a university, consists of about 10 students who work in the research program of the host university. Stipends and in most cases housing and travel funds. Complete list of locations on website, start checking late fall/early spring semester. Students apply to the university hosting the REU, not to NSF.
