Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) Scholarships

ALPFA offers scholarships to students, in the US or Puerto Rico, who are pursuing undergraduate/graduate studies. The purpose of these scholarships is to encourage those students who have demonstrated academic excellence to continue pursuing their professional careers.

General Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must be of Hispanic heritage
Applicants must be basic or premium ALPFA members in good standing
Applicants must be US citizens or legal permanent residents
Applicants must possess a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Applicant must enroll full-time in a degree seeking program at a four year U.S. accredited college or university in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam during the Fall of 2017

Applicants must be majoring in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management, Marketing, and other Business-related fields

Applicants must be entering their Sophomore, Junior, Senior year of undergraduate study OR a Master's degree program for the 2017-2018 academic school year

Open to community college students intending to transfer to a four-year college or university in fall 2017 as a Junior or Senior

Must be eligible and apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
