Student Support Services (SSS) promotes academic success and personal growth for first-generation students, income-eligible students and students with disabilities at Binghamton University. Through innovative practices and programming, SSS supports these students as they achieve their goals and enriches their college experience.
Services provided by SSS include:
- academic advising
- career coaching
- personal counseling and mentoring
- free tutoring services
- leadership development
- assistance in obtaining financial aid
SSS provides workshops and seminars on a variety of topics, such as computer literacy, study skills, time management and career exploration. In addition, SSS encourages students to attend cultural enrichment events throughout the year.
