International Student Resources

International students looking for a job or internship must be aware of some unique regulations prior to employment in the U.S. We offer some tips to help.

  • The first step in designing an effective U.S. job search strategy is to clearly understand the rules and regulations that govern your status. For more information about the rules and regulations, please visit the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) Employment Resources website.
  • Generally, the job search for new grads, domestic or international, is very self-directed. The school’s involvement includes hosting industry visits, employer recruitment events, professional development workshops, and more. The WCAC office can also help students prepare for the job search through one-on-one consulting. You can schedule an appointment with a Career Services staff member on hireBING by Handshake.
