The Researcher

The thought of a new invention or a groundbreaking discovery in medicine makes you excited! You're a problem-solver and crave hands-on work and experiences.

Binghamton University students enjoy continuing their research interests outside of the classroom alongside other individuals who just get it. Clubs on campus like the Biochemistry Club, Computers Robotics and Engineering (CoRE) are some research intensive favorites on campus; the New York Public Research Interest Group is another!

The Creative

You're an out-of-the-box thinker who is great at expressing yourself through writing, drawings and/or photographs.

Binghamton University has several clubs for creative minds such as the Imagination Craft Works, and the Media Group!

The Explorer

You appreciate learning about other cultures and traveling with the purpose of becoming more globally aware.

Aside from the 600 study abroad opportunities Binghamton students receive, many enjoy participating in clubs that work together and discuss world issues, give aid to those in need and take trips to immerse themselves in cultures. Take a closer look at the Binghamton Society for Economic Outreach and Engineering World Health clubs!

The Idealist

You're a compassionate person who wants to continue volunteer work in college. Lending a helping hand around campus, in the local community and overseas is important to Binghamton students.

Consider joining clubs such as Rotaract and/or serve as mentors of the Boys and Girls Club with fellow members who are just as passionate about giving back and serving in communities.

The Performer

You love to dance, act, sing, play an instrument or just enjoy making people laugh.

Binghamton has clubs for all of those interests! There are several dance troupes such as the Black Dance Repertoire; a cappella groups, such as the Binghamton Crosbys and the Binghamtonics; improv comedy groups; music ensembles; and theater productions.

The Candidate

You're into politics and are up for a good debate!

At Binghamton, you’ll find a team to fit in with. Students on campus have the opportunity to participate in Speech and Debate Club, Mock Trial Club, Model United Nations and more! Have you heard about the Binghamton student that ran for president?

The Athlete

You love the outdoors! Binghamton’s Outdoor Pursuits program gives students the opportunity to take diverse recreational workshops and classes in natural settings!

There are plenty of opportunities to stay active. From casual intramural sports to more committed club sports, at Binghamton you can channel your love of the game into a recreational activity!
