Alumni Connect - January 2018

Regional chapter and affinity roundup

By Steve Seepersaud

Pipe Dream reunion gatheringOn Dec. 17, more than 30 former Pipe Dream writers and editors met up in Manhattan's Bleecker Street Bar to talk shop about journalism and chat about their times on campus. Attendees included a pair of editors from the 1960s, back when Pipe Dream was known as The Colonial News, as well as several current members of the editorial staff.

The Pipe Dream alumni group hosts networking happy hours once or twice a year in New York City, and organizes career connections between alumni and current students. If you're interested in joining, sign up for the newsletter and feel free to email founder Jacob Shamsian '15.
