The Convocations Committee helps to provide funding for University programs that enhance and support the intellectual, cultural and artistic aspects of the academic curriculum. The Convocations Committee is interested in helping to pay for the following suggested items:
- Sound, stage, lighting costs
- Speaker fees
- Venue rental fees (on campus)
- Advertising Costs
- Operating supplies costs
If your event is approved for funding, you will be required to submit a post-event report to the committee. Additionally, if the transfer of funds is not requested within six months after the application date, your allocation will be cancelled.
Preference will be given to typed, fully completed, well prepared applications with detailed budgets that are submitted at least 30 days prior to the program date.
