Outdoor Pursuits

The Outdoor Pursuits program provides educational opportunities for you to get outside and enjoy nature. We offer outdoor adventure activities, credit classes, equipment rentals and teambuilding experiences through the Challenge Program. 

 Join us on our next adventure as we explore Binghamton and beyond!

Adventure Activities

Try something new with our low to no-cost outdoor adventures. It's a great way to meet other students who also love being outdoors. Activities vary from a couple hours to overnight trips. 

Credit Classes

Earn credit while learning about bicycling, hiking, fly fishing, disc golf and other topics. Register for an Outdoor Pursuits credit course (OUT) next semester and make nature your classroom.

Rental Center

Rent the gear and get the expert advice you need for your own adventure. The Rental Center has tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, camp cookware and winter equipment like cross-country skis available to rent. 

Challenge Program

This activity-based teambuilding program incorporates tasks that help group members build trust, think creatively and communicate more effectively. Each Challenge Program experience is customized to your team's unique needs and goals.
