Join Outdoor Pursuits staff on an outdoor adventure! No experience necessary. Any fees cover your guide, transportation and equipment.

Sign up in the Outdoor Pursuits office, EG-10 during office hours (11:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday). Email Outdoors@Binghamton.edu with any questions.

Seeking Sasquatch hike

• 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday, April 7
• Swedish Loop, $15

We’re heading to a dense forest of towering trees with plenty of shadows, even in the daytime. A picturesque stream valley leads us up to an old road and back into another stand of rich forest. Snapping twigs, distant movement and suspicious outlines. Will we see our Sasquatch? Come along on this quest if you are up for a 5-mile trek.

Pack a lunch, trail snacks and water bottle. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are necessary. Sign up in the Outdoor Pursuits office, EG-10 by Friday, April 5

Service day hike

• 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13
• Local, $5

Take a hike on Outdoor Pursuits' adopted portion of the Finger Lakes Trail. This will be a gentle, flat and methodical 6-mile hike with many stops to remove any fallen limbs from heavy winter snows and check that the trail still has its proper markings. Sign up in the Outdoor Pursuits office, EG-10 by Thursday, April 11.
