BINGHAMTON, NY -- Binghamton University will hold an "Instant Decision Day" for SUNY Broome Community College (BCC) students from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, in Suite 210 of the Student Services Building on the BCC campus.

Binghamton University admissions counselors will be on hand to meet with SUNY Broome students who seek to transfer to Binghamton University in spring 2014 and major in the liberal arts and sciences or human development. Counselors will meet one-on-one with all applicants to determine admission to Binghamton. Applicants must have successfully completed 45 credits, and those with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher are preferred.

Interested students should apply online via the SUNY Application. Students should bring official, sealed transcripts from previous colleges attended, and SUNY Broome will provide official transcripts for students. Appointments are required and should be made immediately. To register, call (607) 778-5210, or e-mail counselingservices@sunybroome.edu.

Annually, approximately one-third of all new students entering Binghamton University are transfers, with more than half coming from two-year schools, including SUNY Broome Community College.
