BINGHAMTON, NY – The Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science at Binghamton University will host a five-day flight and ground vehicle simulation training program, Jan. 20-24, 2014. The event will be held in the Engineering and Science Building at the Innovative Technologies Complex, 85 Murray Hill Road, Vestal, N.Y.

This course is being offered to engineers, software developers and other professionals associated with the specification, implementation or acquisition of modern flight and ground vehicle simulators.

Attendees will receive a comprehensive overview of the key components of flight and ground vehicle simulation, state-of-the-art information about system design, applications and research trends. Additional specialized courses in System Specification and Visual Database Design are also available Jan. 27-28, 2014, at this same location.

This offering marks the 30th year that Binghamton University has hosted this training. Since its establishment in 1984, over 2,000 participants from 11 countries have benefited from this unique training, held at the birthplace of flight simulation.
