During these sessions, we will cover five steps in relation to supervisory responsibilities: observation, documentation, consultation, conversation, and referral. We will take time to understand what “supervision” is and the importance of utilizing clear and consistent communication for the development of trust with supervisees. Various case studies will allow for application of these practices. In addition, we will touch upon the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual harassment in the workplace. This workshop will highlight the importance of understanding campus policies and accessing EAP for supervisory support.
