NLC Residents are invited to the study room off of the NLC Lounge to utilize study supplies. There is a brain model, two heart models, a skeleton, and giveaways. Study supplies are available for you to take each week, stop by weekly for other surprises some weeks! (Nursing Learning Community Residents only)

Our Health Sciences Building tour will take approximately 45 minutes and will highlight the first, second, and third floors of the building. There will be time at the end for additional questions. Employer Treks are in-person events designed for career education and networking, during which students visit hospitals to network with recruiters/alumni, learn more about the organization, and discover what a career at this organization could look like. All Decker run Employer Trek applications for this Academic Year will REQUIRE that you have attended one of our MANDATORY information sessions. This session will meet that requirement. Decker College plans to hold Treks in Broome County, NYC and Long Island this year.

Dear Valued Nursing Academic Partner, We are excited to announce that Northwell Health's Annual Golden Ticket Nursing Showcase will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026. This year, we will be welcoming senior nursing students who are set to graduate between December 2025 and August 2026.   This in-person conference will provide your students with the opportunity to explore nursing careers at Northwell Health and network with nurses and nurse leaders across the organization. The Decker Division of Advising and Academic Excellence welcomes all rising Decker Juniors to come to the Health Sciences Building for an event to welcome you to the building and to orient you with what to expect over the next few months! As a rising junior, you are expected to attend this event.

The event will include:
-An informational presentation on the nursing curriculum: know what to expect over the next few months and what to expect in the Fall
-A building tour: see where you will be having your clinical experiences, ask questions! Ask about student ambassadors' favorite study spots!
-Experience mini simulations in the Innovative Simulation and Practice Center, ask questions of ISPC student staff to know what more to expect.
-An upperclassman panel: Hear from current Decker juniors and seniors about their time in the Health Sciences Building, their tips and tricks, and more!
