Kellie's experience teaching and living abroad in Taiwan helped to develop her passion for teaching English language learners. She enjoys learning about cultures and exploring students’ diverse perspectives in class discussions, as well as working with students on long term issues of pronunciation. She previously taught ESL in the Adult Education Program in the Binghamton City School District (at the American Civic Association). Prior to that, she taught Academic English to International students at SUNY Cortland, as well as TESOL methodology to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing TESOL as a career. She currently teaches academic English skills as well as Integrated Content and Language (ICL) at Binghamton University.

When she isn’t in the classroom, Kellie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring the area’s natural beauty, traveling, and meeting interesting people from other places in the world.
