Your Binghamton University student ID is an important document that will help you succeed as a Binghamton University student. It's needed for residence hall and room access as well as many other student services, including:
- Meal plan and BUCS
- Free rides on Binghamton city and OCCT buses
- Access to on-campus fitness/gym facilities
- Identification on campus and beyond
- Checking out library books
To ensure that you receive your student ID during Orientation, you can upload a current photo of yourself that will be used to create your ID. You will need your Binghamton University username and password to upload your photo.
Complete this process before your scheduled Orientation date and you can pick up your student ID card at the Office of Student Records, located in the Admissions Center, Room 112.
You must bring a government-issued photo ID, such as a passport or a driver's license, in order to pick up your student ID. You will not be given your Binghamton University student ID card without a government-issued photo ID.
