Binghamton University took a significant step in ensuring network security by implementing Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for the Secure SSL VPN in FALL 2020. This additional layer of security is crucial for protecting our network.
2FA for Ivanti Secure Access Client SSL VPN
The Ivanti Secure Access Client SSL VPN now utilizes the same 2FA One Time Password as CAS. This integration streamlines the authentication process and enhances the overall security of our network
Setting Up 2FA
To set up 2FA, please follow the instructions available on the official IT Services website. For Google 2-Step information click here.

To install & get connected to SSL VPN visit Ivanti Secure Access.
Note: You will have to log into BU domain and use Google Authenticator every time you connect to Binghamton University SSL VPN through the web or Ivanti Secure Access Client.
