Oral History and Interviews

About the Collection

The Libraries’ Oral History and Interviews collection consists of oral history projects administered by the Libraries as well as collections of oral history interviews donated by researchers and community organizations.

Most oral histories have a digitized audio component and may include a transcript available for research use. Access to some of the collections may be  limited to the university community because of copyright and licensing restrictions.

The Libraries can partner with faculty and students to support the creation, sharing, and preservation of oral history interviews.  For more information see the Libraries' Best Practices and Guidelines for Conducting Oral Histories or email libsys@binghamton.edu.
