Music (MusB, BA)

Program Overview

Binghamton offers both bachelor of arts and bachelor of music degrees. The bachelor of arts is a major in music and is an academically oriented program. The BA can be completed as part of a double major. The bachelor of music degree in performance is an intensive program for students planning to pursue graduate study and careers in classical music performance. Admission to the Bachelor of Music Program is by audition only and has several deadlines.

Students do not audition for the BA but are expected to be able to read music and have previous performance experience. There is also a minor in music.
