EHS Respiratory Medical Evaluation Program

N95 Fit Testing

  1. Fill out the Respiratory Medical Evaluation Questionnaire and email it to the Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, Bridget McCane-Saunders (bmccane@binghamton.edu). Forms will be reviewed by a medical professional.
  2. Complete the Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) training segment of the Surveillance Testing Site Training. This provides an excellent overview of donning and doffing of PPE. At the conclusion of the training there is a short quiz. Use this link to access the surveillance testing site training.
  3. View the calendar below to schedule a fit test. If none of the times fit your schedule, contact EH&S office at 607-777-2211.
  4. Arrive at Health Services on time and ready to be fit tested. You cannot have any facial hair or stubble! The EHS Office is in the lower level of the Decker Health Services building.

Fit Test Disclaimer: A fit test will not be conducted if there is any hair growth between the skin and the facepiece sealing surface, such as stubble, beard growth, beard, light mustache, or sideburns, which cross the respirator sealing surface. Any type of apparel which interferes with a satisfactory fit should be altered or removed.
