Akanksha Mansukhani
Akanksha specializes in Social and Political Philosophy, 20th century German continental philosophy, and decolonial philosophy. She is also competent in Indian philosophy and ethics. She completed her BA and MA from India and joined the SPEL graduate program in Fall 2020.
Nadia Haroun Mahdavi
Nadia Haroun Mahdavi graduated from Marywood University in 2022 with a BA in History/Pre-Law and Philosophy, as well as with a certification in Bioethics. She entered SUNY Binghamton's SPEL Philosophy doctoral program in Fall 2023. She has earned her MA from BU as a part of progressing towards her PhD. Nadia has served as the IT coordinator for the department's SPEL Graduate Student Organization for the last two years as well as helped establish this MAP chapter for the department. Her interests are ethical and social philosophy and her research is primarily focusing on obligations towards the dead and past generations.
