EOP Binghamton Enrichment Program (BEP)

Welcome to EOP!

The BEP is a mandatory pre-freshman program that provides students with intensive academic development and orientation to the Binghamton University community.

Academic classroom instruction is offered to strengthen the student's skills in the areas of writing, reading, mathematics, and communication. The program also offers the opportunity to complete eight (8) credits and two (2) requirements.

Each student is assigned an academic advisor/counselor who coordinates individual advising sessions to assist with course registration and acclimation to the rigors of BU. The BEP is provided at no cost to the student.

All freshman students are admitted to the University through the EOP on the condition that they participate in the Summer Program. Students are expected to complete the Summer Program successfully. EOP provides financial support for each student to cover the cost of room, board, books and transportation.
