The Council for Northeast Historical Archaeology publishes an annual journal, Northeast Historical Archaeology (NEHA) and an occasional monograph series, Studies in Historical Archaeology. Northeast Historical Archaeology publishes field reports, methodological and technical studies, interpretive analyses, and commentary. Studies in Northeast Historical Archaeology is devoted to presenting high quality research in an expanded format.
Authors should thoroughly review the on-line Manuscript Preparation Guidelines before submitting a manuscript to Northeast Historical Archaeology or Studies in Historical Archaeology. The guidelines provide information on the electronic submission process and questions of style. We also recommend that authors considering publishing a full length manuscript in Studies in Historical Archaeology contact the editor prior to submitting.
