David joined SOM Career Services as the Director in May 2026, bringing with him nearly 15 years of experience in higher education student affairs at various institutions, including Binghamton University, The University of Scranton, and Lycoming College. As Director, David provides oversight and strategy to the SOM Career Services office, including the supervision of professional and student staff, in addition to meeting with students one-on-one for general career advising. David first joined SOM as an adjunct professor in the summer of 2025, and he continues to teach SOM courses in his role as Director.

Tara Regan

Tara joined SOM Career Services as the Career Readiness & Curricular Design Coordinator in the summer of 2026. A 2022 Binghamton University graduate, she brings experience in Human Resources across the wealth management and private equity sectors. In her role, Tara oversees career readiness initiatives and curriculum integration for School of Management courses, in addition to meeting with students one-on-one for career advising and strategy to help them launch their professional journeys with confidence.

Ammara joined SOM Career Services as the Employer Engagement Coordinator in the fall of 2025. In her role, Ammara provides individualized career support while strengthening employer connections that lead to meaningful opportunities for SOM students. Prior to joining the School of Management, Ammara spent 8 years in a variety of in-house corporate and staffing agency roles, bringing diverse experiences in talent acquisition, recruitment, and human resources. Her other experiences include previous roles in higher education at Western New England University, Bay Path College, and the University of Hartford.

Biography
Al joined the School of Management in 2025 as a Career Advisor after 20 years with Broome-Tioga BOCES where he served as CEO and District Superintendent. Prior to his tenure at BOCES, Al filled various management and executive-level positions at IBM in purchasing, engineering, and high-tech manufacturing. As a Career Advisor, Al provides personalized career advising to both undergraduate and graduate students in SOM.
