Offering strong pre-professional training in the theory and practice that will allow you to work in public or private accounting. The flexibility of the program allows students to work in private accounting, consulting, investment banking, general management or law.
The program serves students who want to go directly into careers in public and corporate accounting after graduation, as well as students who intend to pursue advanced studies in graduate school.

Certified public accountant (CPA) licensing
There are three major requirements licensure as a certified public accountant in New York state: education, examination and experience.
Educational requirements (total of 150 credit hours)*
- BS in accounting
- BS in management, plus additional coursework to meet CPA requirements
CPA exam
There are different divisions of the exam, and they may be passed separately, but there are time constraints that must be adhered to. Information about the exam and necessary forms can be obtained by calling 1-800-CPA-EXAM.
