How can we strategically manage recruitment, retention, student success, and enrollment mix to advance our academic priorities, sustain institutional strength, and respond effectively to demographic, market, and workforce trends?
Career readiness and trends
How can we better prepare our students for the future of work while building partnerships that equip them with the skills needed for long-term career success?
Professional development infrastructure
How can we invest structurally to strengthen pathways for faculty and staff to develop and advance their skills, so they can grow professionally and experience greater job satisfaction in service to Binghamton University’s mission?
Facilities and IT Infrastructure
What places, spaces, and technology do we need to build or update, and how do we expand staffing capacity to operate them in support of this five-year plan?
Artificial Intelligence
How can we ensure our faculty, staff, and students stay current on AI technologies — understanding their rapidly evolving benefits and risks — and harness them to accelerate progress toward our goals?
Reputation and awareness
How can this plan — alongside other marketing and branding efforts — serve as a compelling “calling card” that enhances external recognition of our work?
