    2025 Applications Opening Soon!

Do you want to be one of the first to apply to Binghamton for 2025? No problem! Just fill out this form and we’ll send you an email to alert you when the application goes live.

Note: There is a $50 nonrefundable application fee. Binghamton accepts specific application fee waivers for students who meet certain criteria demonstrating economic need.

  2. Check Your Email and Activate Your Password

Beginning in early October, after we receive your application, we'll email you a Reference Number and User ID. Once you receive these, activate your password. You must do this before you can successfully complete the rest of your application.

Note: The Admissions Office uses email as our main source of communication for important updates including application status notifications. If you are providing your school email, be aware of any policies your high school has that may restrict our messages from reaching you. You can update your email address at any time through the status checker. Add admit@binghamton.edu to your email contact list to ensure you receive our emails. Don't forget to check your spam folder!
  3. Submit Your Transcript

First-year students are required to submit a high-school transcript. You should request your transcript from your school counselor. Official transcripts can be submitted electronically or by mail to Binghamton University, Office of Undergraduate Admissions, P.O. BOX 6001, Binghamton, NY 13902-6001.

In order to fulfill this requirement, you have the option to self-report your high school transcript through the Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR). Note: International students and athletes are not eligible. If we've already received your transcript, you are not eligible for SRAR.
  4. Standardized Test Scores (optional)

Binghamton University is test optional which means standardized test scores are not required. All students must indicate on the Common Application or the SUNY application whether or not they want standardized SAT/ACT test scores included in the review of their overall application.
