After You Graduate

When you graduate from Binghamton University's Decker School of Nursing, you join the more than 6,000 men and women around the world who call themselves Decker nurses. Our alumni are well-established in the profession as leading clinicians, researchers, educators and administrators, and they are eagerly recruited by employers across the globe.

Successful Graduates

Decker boasts high employment rates for our BS and MS graduates, with many alumni taking positions in healthcare agencies such as Albany Medical Center, Ascension Lourdes Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Mount Sinai Hospital, Stony Brook University Hospital, SUNY Upstate Medical University, UHS and University of Rochester Medical Center. Recent DNP graduates have continued at government and educational institutions. Many of our PhD alumni have obtained positions in academia at acclaimed universities and research institutions, while others are pioneers in research, development and practice initiatives.

Graduate School

Binghamton's undergraduate nursing programs serve as an excellent starting point for graduate school. Many of our students choose to remain at Binghamton for their graduate studies.

Binghamton University Alumni Association

The Binghamton University Alumni Association helps you connect to classmates and to the University. Once you graduate from the Decker School, you are automatically a member of the Alumni Association. Membership is free for life! Throughout the year, the Alumni Association sponsors events and programs on and off campus to bring you together with fellow alumni and to further your professional development. In addition, Alumni Association members can take advantage of a number of benefits and services.
